Using the Data Register
The Congruence Engine Data Register makes use of the Wikibase.Cloud to build its infrastructure and public accessible website you see.
We, as the Congruence Engine project, are not using your personal data in any way. However, Wikibase collects, stores and uses IP addresses (subject to GDPR) for all users (irrespective of registered or not), and additional personal details for registered users (names and email addresses).
You might want to check Wikibase.Cloud privacy policy for further clarifications on how your data will be stored and used by Wikimedia before using or registering to this website.
Registering to the Data Register
In order to experience the full functionalities and contribute to the Register, you need to register an account by providing some personal data.
If you want to avoid this step entirely, you may want to consider to:
- Use the Data Register without registering an account. You can still access all its content without an account; however, if you want to contribute, you need to have an account.
- Register for an account to edit this site without needing to provide an email address or real name. However, we do not recommend this, as we are fostering a community where trust, transparency, and respect are of pivotal importance.
Contributing to the Data Register
- As this a Wikimedia enabled website, any content you add or any change that you make to this site will be publicly and permanently available through the 'view history' tab.
- The Data Register is a proof-of-concept for a community-focused project. Your contributions may be edited by members of the project team or other users. Likewise, you are welcome to edit contributions made by others in the community. Please remember to be kind and respectful in your interactions.
